The basics
What is pokedex?
A Solana launchpad where every coin is quoted in a token backed by a real graded trading card. See Start here.
What is a card token?
The token of one card identity in the vault. Each vaulted card mints exactly 1,000 of them, and identical copies back the same token. See Card tokens.
Which cards are listed?
Twelve PSA-graded cards at launch, each with at least 20 identical Core copies at Collector Crypt. See Listed cards.
Which chain does pokedex run on?
Solana mainnet. Coins trade on Meteora's bonding curve and DAMM v2 pools; cards are Metaplex Core NFTs. See Contracts and addresses.
Cards
How do I get a card out?
Burn 1,000 card tokens of its class with redeem. You receive the oldest copy still held in the class, as a Core NFT. See Deposit and redeem.
Can I choose which copy I get?
No. Redemption is first in, first out, so nobody can pick the best copy of a class. See Deposit and redeem.
How do I put a card in?
Deposit a Collector Crypt Core card whose identity has a class. The attestor signs a statement about it, and the deposit mints 1,000 card tokens to you. See Attestation.
What if a card leaves the vault?
Anyone can prove it with poke: the copy is marked missing and the class is flagged, so no new coins launch against it. See Backing and poke.

What does the curve look like?
pump.fun's exact shape, in card tokens: 79.31% of the supply sold on the curve, a 14.7x price range, a market cap of about 0.329 x N cards at launch and about 4.83 x N cards at graduation. See Coins.
When does a coin graduate?
When its curve has raised N cards' worth of card tokens. N defaults to half the cards vaulted in the class. See Graduation.
Do I need card tokens to buy a coin?
No. Buying with SOL goes SOL to card token to coin in one transaction. See Buy with SOL.
Who earns the trading fees?
Meteora, the coin's creator and pokedex share each curve fee, all paid in the card token. See Fees.
Trust
Who could take the cards?
Collector Crypt holds the physical cards and its collection carries permanent transfer and burn delegates. The programs' upgrade authority could also replace card-vault's code. See Trust and security.
Is there an oracle?
No. Prices come from pools and from arbitrage between 1,000 card tokens and the card. See Prices.
How do I check the reserves myself?
Open the Reserves page of the app, or run cpctl verify. See Verify the reserves.
Written from the protocol, security and card documents of the pokedex repository and from its code (card-vault, card-launch, cp-ix). Every figure on these pages comes from there.
