Graduation

When a curve has raised its threshold in card tokens, anyone can migrate it into a Meteora DAMM v2 COIN/CARD pool, and pokedex's keeper does. The graduated pool's liquidity is locked forever, which also means some card tokens can never be burned for a card again.

When a curve completes

A curve completes when its card-token reserve reaches the config's threshold: N cards' worth, N x 1,000 card tokens. The last buy of a curve is a partial fill (Buy with SOL).

Meteora's migration_damm_v2 is then callable by anyone. Meteora's own keepers only migrate whitelisted quote tokens, so pokedex's keeper migrates every complete curve of a recorded launch.

The pool it creates

Coins in the pool20.69% of the supply, at the curve's final price
Liquidity100% permanently locked

Two position NFTs are created. The partner position, with the permanently locked liquidity, is owned by pokedex's fees account. Its trading fees keep flowing to it and are claimed like the curve's (Fees).

After graduation, buying with SOL routes the second leg through this pool instead of the curve.

What is locked forever

The graduated pool's position can never be withdrawn. Card tokens can still leave the pool by trading, when coin holders sell, but a full-range pool always keeps some card tokens. Those can never be gathered and burned for a card.

Surplus

A curve can collect a little more than its threshold, and the surplus stays in the curve's pool after migration. The partner share of that surplus is claimed with claim_surplus (permissionless) and split like any other fee.
