Prices
There is no oracle: every price comes from a pool, and arbitrage between 1,000 card tokens and the card itself keeps the card token near the card's value. A coin's price in SOL is its price in the card token times the card token's price in SOL.

Three prices, three markets
| Price | Set by | What pulls it back |
|---|---|---|
| Card token vs the card | Deposit and redeem | Anyone with a card can deposit it for 1,000 tokens; anyone with 1,000 tokens can redeem the oldest card |
| Card token vs SOL | The class's CARD/SOL DAMM v2 pool, seeded at the depositor's chosen price | Outside traders arbitrage it |
| Coin vs card token | The coin's curve, then its graduated COIN/CARD pool | Trading on the curve or pool |
The arbitrage band
When 1,000 card tokens trade well below the card's market value, buying 1,000 and redeeming a card is profitable. When they trade well above it, depositing a card and selling the tokens is. The band between the two is as wide as the costs of the round trip: Collector Crypt's marketplace fees, shipping, and the fact that redemption hands out the oldest copy rather than one you pick.
Card resale volume is thin, so the band starts wide. See Listed cards.
Prices in the app
| Figure | Source |
|---|---|
| SOL in US dollars | Jupiter's price API, cached 30 seconds |
| Card token in US dollars | The CARD/SOL pool's current marginal price times SOL in US dollars |
| Card value | The card token's pool price times 1,000 |
| Coin in US dollars | The coin's price in the card token (curve or graduated pool) times the card token in US dollars |
Jupiter's own price for a card token or a coin is shown only as a labelled reference: it moves only when the token trades, so on a thin pool it goes stale.
Charts on the card and coin pages are candles built from every trade on the CARD/SOL pool, the coin's curve and, once it exists, its COIN/CARD pool. In US dollars, every candle is multiplied by one current figure, as the chart says: it is not a historical dollar series.
The rest of this path
Written from the protocol, security and card documents of the pokedex repository and from its code (card-vault, card-launch, cp-ix). Every figure on these pages comes from there.
